Dr. Shane W. Ebert P. Geo.

President and Director

Dr. Ebert has over 30 years of gold, copper, and base metal exploration experience in North America, South America, Australia, and Europe. Dr. Ebert was involved in the discovery of a large copper deposit in Mexico (Bahuerachi Deposit), a gold deposit in eastern Canada (Viking), and a Cu-Au porphyry in British Columbia (West Seel) and has worked with numerous Major and Junior exploration companies.  Experience includes exploration and research on epithermal and porphyry deposits in Canada, USA, Mexico and Europe, reduced intrusion related gold deposits in Yukon and Alaska, and polymetallic carbonate hosted deposits in Peru.  Dr. Ebert is also President and Director of Surge Copper Corp. (TSXV-SURG) and a director of Jade Leader Corp. (TSXV-JADE).  Dr. Ebert was Vice President Exploration and a Director of Tyler Resources Inc. (TSX-TYS) until March 2008, the time at which the Company was sold to a large multinational mining consortium.  He is a registered professional geoscientist with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia.

Jean Pierre Jutras P. Geol.

Vice President and Director

Mr. Jutras, a professional mineral exploration geologist, has over 30 years experience in the exploration industry and has worked in over 15 countries on four continents, with numerous public companies including Placer dome, Prism Resources, Golden Star Resources and Jade Leader Corp.

He was the President and a Director of Tyler Resources Inc. from 2001 until March 2008 when Tyler was taken over by Jinchuan Group Ltd. of China for Cdn $214 million. JP then remained as Feasibility Study Coordinator 2008 to 2010 for Tyler Resources Inc., post-takeover transaction.  Mr. Jutras is also currently a President and Director of Jade Leader Corp. 

Lesley Hayes, MBA

Director

Ms. Lesley Hayes has been a director of the Company since February 11, 1997. Ms. Hayes is CCO of HessePartners and CEO of NoDrama Media, training CEOs and Presidents with Young Presidents Organization and Entrepreneurs Organization in the US, Canada and internationally. Ms Hayes holds an MBA from the University of Calgary/University of Alberta and completed PhD graduate coursework with Athabasca University. Ms. Hayes has management and board experience with a number of public companies with operations in the US and Canada, and international experience including Belgium and Costa Rica. Those companies include Crailar Inc, Burntsand Inc, Vicom Multimedia Inc and Tyler Resources Inc.

Gregory Hanks, B.Comm.

Director

Mr. Hanks holds a B.Comm. (Honors) with a major in Finance. He has held a number of management and senior management roles throughout his more that 25 years in the Financial Services Industry. He has extensive experience in commercial and industrial lending and was Senior Manager, Commercial Services at Integris Credit Union until March 2018. He has held several nonprofit board positions and currently providing consulting services in the areas of Human Resources and Finance to corporations in northern BC.  

Blair Schultz, B.Math.

Director

Mr. Schultz has over 25 years of capital markets and financial experience including senior executive roles and brings significant merger and acquisition experience to the board.  Among his successes includes time spent at Klondex Mines (TSX: KDX) where he played an active role with the Board and Management orchestrating a recapitalization from an insolvent explorer into a producer, concluding with the sale of Klondex to Hecla Mining Company (NYSE: HL).

 

Mr. Schultz currently serves on the board of Solstice Gold (TSX.V: SGC) with previous board memberships which include Ring the Bell Capital Corp which was successful with an RTO transaction for Arizona Metals Corp. (TSX.V: AMC), Klondex Mines Ltd., Eastmain Resources, 1911 Gold, OK2 Minerals, and VMS Ventures Inc.  Mr. Schultz began his career with K2 and Associates Investment Management Inc., one of Canada's top hedge funds.  Mr. Schultz holds an Honours Bachelor of Mathematics degree from the University of Waterloo with a Business Administration option from Wilfred Laurier University.
